NIKE HUARACHES (GREY SUEDE/ GOLD STRAP)

Today's post is going to be based around the one and only Nike Huaraches. Now the Nike Huaraches have been quite popular for a while now, and I'm talking since around 2004, but it seemed that they disappeared. From what I noticed it wasn't until around 2013 that Nike resurrected them and they were definitely the hype when they came out and still are now in 2015.

At the time I wasn't feeling Huaraches AT ALL. I never thought I'd ever purchase them in my life- they were too hype at the time, however, with my style I knew I could make them work.  As more colours began to recently come out Nike lured me in. In fact, it was the mixture of this grey suede and the 'gold' strap that caught my eye; it was the different materials and colours that got me, omggg! It was just different to other colours they had released. I initially wanted either the plain black ones or the red and black ones, but I thought I'd come out of my comfort zone, as I tend to normally stick to black when it comes to shoes and I'm happy I did.

Despite the fact of them being fly, they are comfortable. When I wore them, I was amazed about how comfortable they were! Allowing me to be comfortably fashionable- this leads onto how versatile they are, as you can wear them to run errands or wear them to make an outfit look effortlessly clean.

You can even now customise them to suite your personality as Nike have added them to their iD collection.

For me personally, there are only 2 problems I can highlight about Nike Huaraches:

  1. Sizing- when buying them it's a must to buy them in 1/2 a size higher than your original size. For example, I'm originally a UK 5.5, and as a result I had to return them for a 6.
  2. For me I don't know if it's because of the shoes itself, but the inside side view (so the view I took them in, in my picture) looks different to how the outside side view looks (if that makes sense?)- but I think this MIGHT be because of this particular release, as I noticed for some other colours this doesn't look like it is the case... But then it might be because my legs are skinny lol -_- I don't know, someone let me know maybe?

But overall, the Nike Huaraches are definitely worth the purchase, I have my eye on more I plan on purchasing, which I'll keep you all updated on. It is a shoe that everyone should think about investing in.

Hope you guys liked today's post. <3
PS. check out the post I had done on Huaraches for another upcoming blog 'Providence Hype': http://providencehype.blogspot.co.uk/ (which gives another/similar view of the shoe).
