This is my one and only current product I use to deep condition my curls - the one and only Cantu Deep Treatment Masque!
I only recently started to properly deep condition my hair (around February/March - I'm late I know) and I say 'properly' because I use the Aussie Reconstructor deep conditioner, but that I use as my all round conditioner, I'm sure you get what I mean. Anyway, since using this product, it's definitely done wonders; it does what it says 'restores and strengthens dry, damaged hair'. I have seen a big difference in my curls and my hair overall, my hair feels that extra bit healthier everytime I use it.
Routine:
- I aim to deep condition at least once a week, but sometimes I'm lazy and I end up doing it once every two weeks (which is most of the time).
- Whilst my hair is dry (or sometimes a bit damp from using a spray bottle) I start from the bottom section of my hair and apply it on in sections.
- It says to leave it on for 45 mins, so I actually time it from the time I've already applied it on, and once I've finished applying it, I go in the shower to past the rest of the time so the heat can also help the conditioning process as well.
- I then wash it out and quickly shampoo my scalp, to cleanse it.
- Once completed, I continue the 'aftercare' part of my routine as mentioned in my wash and go routine (http://na-fi-sahh.blogspot.co.uk/2015/06/current-wash-and-go-curly-hair-products.html).
