The A/W time is back. No more pastels, just more nudes and darker shades. So since Autumn has just begun, I thought that it is the right time to share my picks for A/W.

Barry M - Lychee | Claire's (name unknown) | Barry M - Ballerina

Firstly, let's start with the nudes. These, I think are the right shades of nudes. The Lychee colour has a creamy/beige tone, as well as the Claire's one, which is just a a few shades darker - both work well for if you are feeling to be more plain with your colour. As you can see the Claire's one has 'leather' on the label - when it is applied and is dry, it has a rough texture, which is very noticeable and adds an edge, compared to just a plain textured colour. The Ballerina colour is the perfect shade of a dusky pink for A/W - it's not too bright and not overwhelming and works as a perfect coloured shade of a nudey pink.

All Barry M - Chilli | Black | Matt White | Black/Gold Mine Glitter

Now onto the darker shades for A/W. The Chilli colour is probably my favourite - again, it is that perfect tone of a dark, dusky red, with a slight brown undertone, making it not like the classic red colour. Now black is a great minimal colour to keep it neutral in a way and at the same time adds a bit of a statement (since we all tend to love wearing black). However, the black with gold glitter polish also works well, to make your nails stand out more (if that is what you want). Now onto the white nail polish. I personally think white is an all season colour, as I did also include it in my last nail polish post (http://na-fi-sahh.blogspot.com/2015/08/top-5-summer-nail-polishes.html) - even though some may think it is too bright, it goes well with the winter season especially, during the snow seasons (whether or not there is snow), but I'm sure you get what I mean!

Hopefully this helped some of you guys and gave you some inspiration for your A/W nail colours. ;)
I am planning to buy a couple more A/W colours, so be on the look out for those!
Comment and let me know what your fav A/W nail polishes are! :)

Barry M - (names of colours are stated above)

It's summer time, and I thought I would share with you all my top 5 summer nail colours. It's summer, there's no need for the dark colours, it's time to finally embrace those bright pastel colours (whilst you've got time)!

I have not yet worn all of them (well I haven't yet worn papaya and fondant), and I can't wait to, but with these colour choices/similar colour choices, I'm sure your nails will be glistening in this beautiful sunshining weather.

Sooo, here is my first ever beauty post! It's what I've collected since around October. It's not much since I've only since then really starting wearing 'make up', but, my collection only consists of lipsticks and mascaras because I'm more '#teamnatural' I guess.

Let's get started...

LIPSTICKS

The placement of my lipsticks throughout this post aren't placed in order of favourite to least favourite, but I'll be sure to point out my favs as I go along.

Before anything, I put this Blistex lip balm on my lips to keep them moisturized. It smells good and it tastes nice lol.

Now onto the fun part...

1. Topshop - Boardroom | 2.  Barry M - 150 | 3. Revlon Matte Balm - Sultry 225 | 4. Sleek Matte -Vamp

I tried my best to show you some swatches, which hopefully gives you guys an idea of the colour pigment for each lipstick.

  1. Topshop - Boardroom

This lipstick is DEFINITELYYY one of my favs. It looks quite natural on my lips and stands out at the same time, but does not look too overpowering. It's meant to be a matte balm lipstick, and is more on the balm side, however, it is noticeable to see it is matte as it does not look glossy/shimmery. Oh yeah, and how can I forget! It has a rose scent to it, which I wasn't expecting and luckily the scent isn't bad. :)

2. Barry M - 150

This was the first lipstick I ever got. In a way it looks like a nude, but depending on how much you apply, it can either look subtle or have a strong pinky/nudey pigment. It's probably one of my least favourites because of the colour, but give me slack lol, it was the first time I bought lipstick - I was new to it all back then lol.

3. Revlon Matte Balm - Sultry 225

This is another one of my favsss. I had been searching for this shade for a while and finally found it! Not gonna lie sometimes it looks a bit tooo much on the pink when I have it on, but I don't know if that might be because I'm overlooking it sometimes, but despite that, I still LOVE IT! <3 This definitely applies matte and is moisturizing when it's on and just like the Topshop one has a scent, a minty one.

3. Sleek - Matte Vamp

This is another fav (probably my 3rd fav). For this one, the pic doesn't highlight how dark of a red it appears and when I swatch it, it also comes out as a nice dark vampy red, HOWEVER, when I put it on my lips it just looks like a normal red with a slightly dark pigment, being not as much of the pigmented dark vampy red that I was expecting. It's still cute though, so it'll do. This straight appears the most matte compared to the others; the only annoying thing about this lipstick is that it easily smudges, so one accidental touch might make it look a tad messy.

MASCARAS

Now onto the mascaras - this part will more brief.

Yellow bottle - NYC Big Volume | Pink bottle - Maybelline Great Lash (BIG)

Yellow bottle - NYC Big Volume

This was the first mascara I purchased and it definitely does it what it says, makes your eyelashes bold and long. It's worth the purchase.

Pink bottle - Maybelline Great Lash (BIG)

This was the second mascara I got. This also does what it says and is similar to the NYC one, but this one does not make your eyelashes look as long as the NYC one does, but it is still a good mascara.

Now this long post has finally come to an end!
What lipsticks/mascaras do you guys recommend (and I'm asking this as a genuine question)? Also, does anyone know a colour that is similar to the Sleek Vamp lipstick, but looks more dark (and is NOT expensive - SO NO MAC BRANDS! lol) and know any similar colours to the 'Revlon Sultry', but with a less pink pigment and maybe with more of a brown undertone? Comment below!

I hope you guys enjoyed my first beauty type post! <3

I haven't done a nail post in a while and I've finally decided to do one.
This time I have Barry M, combined with a random cheap (but good quality) nail polish brand (which is actually my mum's and is from the pharmacy).

As you can see the base blue is the random brand (Gabrini Multivitamin in the colour 337) and as mentioned above it was cheap, but the consistency and pigment quality is very high. This colour is similar to the 'Blueberry' Barry M nail polish I included on my OOTN post, but this one is a bit darker, which I like. I wanted to add something for my nails to 'pop' a bit, so I added Barry M's 'Jingle Bells' on my index and wedding ring finger on my right hand. I would have added the glitter on all my nails, but taking off glitter nail polish is a hassle. :( However, I'm really feeling the whole adding a glitter coat on top of your base colour because it just adds something to it. I'm sure you get what I mean, what do you think? <3

So my nail colour for the next couple of weeks is Barry M's Gelly Hi-Shine collection in the colour Passion Fruit. Since Spring is just about here, I would say it is  good colour to start the season with its red/pink undertones. You cannot really go wrong with it!

OOTN:
Blazer - River Island | Black turtleneck - Zara | Skirt - Asos | Shoes - Primark

I thought I'd hit you guys with a quickie, since I've been slacking recently. This was an outfit I wore lastnight for my friends' birthday celebration, which I wore to the club. I had an enjoyable night, but those shoes oh my, a deception lol - they're soo beautiful, yet so painful to wear after a while :( *sigh* but I guess we all have to sacrifice fashion, well shoes, for pain once in a while lol.

MOOD: BLUEBERRY
I did not do a post on my nail polish last week because when I took the picture, the colour of the polish looked different to how it really looks. But of course, it's Barry M and it's the colour blueberry in the 'Hi-Shine' collection. It's a really nice shade of blue that I recommend it. <3

I've been feeling pretty neutral, so I decided to paint my nails with Barry M's Gelly Hi Shine- Lychee nail polish. I think this nude is a nice subtle tone and overall works well as a neutral colour and pretty much goes well with anything.

This post is going to be the first of many, many, many, many, many, MANY nail posts. My nails are soo important to me, I don't think anyone even understands and in order to make my nails pretty I love me some BARRY M . <3 So technically this will be the first of many, many, many, many, MANY Barry M nail posts.

I tend to paint my nails depending on my mood; my moods been feeling pretty mixed recently, so to start this off I thought I'd introduce you guys to the Barry M Aquarium collection.

This is the Barry M Aquarium- Arabian. This is the 2nd time I've worn this and to be honest the first time I wore it I was not too keen on it (because of the colour), but this time I seem to be more favourable towards it. I thought this matched my mixed mood because of the shade of green and the metallic shimmer/finish.

A plus about this nail polish is that I always like to paint my nails with 3 coats, but luckily, the consistency allows me to only use 2. Another plus is that when the light reflects on to it, in different angles, you see different shades of the metallic green, which is quite pretty.

Do you guys like it? I mean if not, there are many other colours that are apart of the collection anyway, so don't let this colour bring you down, because it is a colour that is a yay AND nay.

But I hope you enjoyed today's nail post... Keep an eye out for LOADS MORE NAIL POSTS!! <3

Ps. For those who don't know... yes, these are my real nails. :)
