What I ordered: Garlic Bread with cheese, Spaghetti with King Prawns and Milk Chocolate Fudge Cake
Website: https://www.prezzorestaurants.co.uk/

The same day I visited Giraffe. was the same day I came to Prezzo. As I mentioned in the Giraffe post, it was my first time having brunch at a food spot and at Prezzo it was my first time dining outside. The weather was perfect for it and so was the environment - it's something I'm going to start doing more often. Prezzo seems like a great place for Italian dining. The garlic bread was good, it was light and crispy, in fact as I'm writing this, I can taste it now. It was soo good we ordered a second round of it lol. The pasta was the perfect portion and even though it had a light seasoning, it was still pretty flavourful. The cake was decent - wasn't bad, but wasn't amazing! I prefer for my cake to be warm so I can have a balance with the cold ice-cream and I feel like warm cake has a lighter texture. Sadly, for me it wasn't warm enough. Overall, I enjoyed Prezzo and even though I was full, it wasn't a sickly full. I can't wait to go back again and try more from their menu (especially their black pizza!!!).

What I ordered: GBK Cheese (mature cheddar) & Bacon, with fries and garlic mayo
Website: https://www.gbk.co.uk/

GBK is a good place if you're looking for a nice, flavourful and cheap burger, with casual dining. How cute are their super skinny fries? I wasn't expecting that. As you bite into the burger, it's not a heavy feel as the bun and burger are soft. Also, the workers were really friendly and make you feel welcome. The only bad thing to me, is the menu limited - so it's a bit of a hassle if you're really stuck on what to choose.

Heads up:
- You have to go to the till to order (I'm not sure if they're all like this).
- Make you sure bring gum or mints because that garlic mayo did not lack any garlic, lol.

What I ordered: Pancakes with bacon and maple syrup
Website: https://www.giraffe.net/

This was my first time having brunch... Only breakfast I've ever had outside is from McDonald's... I know that's quite sad. This was a great way to start my proper first brunch outing. Whilst researching online, out of all the spots I came across, this was the most eye catching one. It had a variety of options that I would enjoy, with the most reasonable prices. Only off putting thing was that after every bite of the pancakes/bacon there was a weird after taste which I can't explain, but overall it was still yummy.

Heads up:
- You order your food at the till before sitting down (at this location).

What I ordered: Jack Daniel's Chicken Strips, Bubblegum Daiquiri and Friday's Double Glazed Burger
Website: https://www.tgifridays.co.uk/

I love TGI's - it's my go-to when I am unsure of where I want to eat! It's such a fun and casual environment to enjoy American dining. Even drinking my cocktail is fun, because the rim is made up of popping candy lol. For their main meals you pay a reasonable price for what you get (in terms of portion and taste). However, for their starters I personally think that some of them are a little overpriced for the portions. On a brighter note, they have a variety of meals and cocktails/mocktails to choose from, so you're pretty spoiled for choice.

Heads up:
-Mon to Thurs they have 2 courses for £16.99 on a set menu (bargain!).
-If it's your birthday, they'll sing to you and you get free cake* (I think the free cake still applies)*.

What I ordered: Duck and Pancakes, Pina Colada and Chilli Lamb with coconut rice
Website: https://thaisq.com/

Thai Square is the perfect place to feel boujee, on a budget. I say 'boujee, on a budget' because somewhere like here I would have thought I would end up spending £50, but depending on what you get, I end up spending around £25 - which I think is really really good for somewhere like here, serving good quality food. Everytime you walk in, there's such a tranquil and classy feel but it is casual at the same time. You feel like you're in a temple because the interior is filled with Buddhist pieces. So far the food I have tried has given me no faults, every single bite is flavourful (the combo of the spices of the chilli lamb with the sweetness of the coconut rice is soo goood!).

Heads up:
- They automatically add service charge to your bill.
- Just like Ichiban, you have to order rice separately.

I have decided to also add food onto my blog. To be honest, I don't know why I didn't think of this before.

Being that my aim is to go to new restaurants and try new food this year and so fourth, I think this is a great way to document for myself and to the world the places I have visited on this 'journey'. This way at the end of each year I can see how many places I have actually visited and look back on all the food I have devoured. At the same time it'll help give you all insight on places to visit and my opinions on the food spots.
